General Manager Position Available
Due to an exciting new period of growth, Mudlark Theatre is seeking an experienced arts administrator to join our team. This position is a part-time, fixed term contract opportunity from April-December 2022, with the intention to extend the role beyond 2022.
The General Manager is the company’s business manager, providing operational leadership. Working within Mudlark’s strategic objectives, the General Manager is responsible for overseeing the administrative running of the company, partnership and funding development, delivery of marketing strategy and budget and financial management.
We are seeking an individual with strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in funding and grant writing, marketing and partnership development. Financial literacy, including being able to understand financial statements and develop and manage organisational budgets in partnership with the Finance Manager is essential. Previous experience in the arts or non-profit sector will be highly regarded.
