THE LAUNCESTON THEATRE FORUMS

VARIOUS PLACES | LAUNCESTON
APRIL, MAY, AUGUST, OCTOBER - A COUPLE OF EVENING SESSIONS, A COUPLE OF WEEKEND SESSIONS
**DETAILS ANNOUNCED SOON**

With the Tasmanian theatre landscape in a phase of constant change - and with a lot of discussion around the importance of culture in the Tasmanian economy -  Mudlark hosted an open forum at The Royal Oak Hotel in November to try to drill down into opportunities it had for deepening its place in the wider Launceston theatre landscape.

The original plan was to have quite a focussed discussion, but the room was so full of energy that the conversation rapidly became a broad-ranging ideas session - generating some great ideas for the wider theatre community and highlighting some challenges.  It was a totally valuable and energising afternoon.

We realised that there was a real need for opportunities for Launceston's theatre community to get together to chew over some of the issues facing it.

So - after plenty of feedback - we're pleased to be able to facilitate four forums throughout 2013.

This program is still in development, and details will be posted here and'll be communicated throughout the year.

It's your place to have your ...  input?  reportage?  ideas?
