Auditions
Mudlark runs auditions for our mainstage shows. The best way to find out about them is to join our mailing list.
Audition notices will also be posted on our Facebook page.

Mudlark Writer's Room
Join a community of writers to discuss, read and write for theatre. All experience levels are welcome and encouraged. Works developed as part of the Writer's Room program have the potential to go on to further development with Mudlark.
Script submissions
Like many theatre companies, Mudlark lacks the resources to be able to provide assessment on unsolicited scripts. But we love to read them anyway.
If you have a new script which you think may work for the company, please email it with a cover letter and your resume to Jane Johnson.
Please also check out the services provided by the Australian Plays and Playwriting Australia.

Do you have an idea?
We are continually looking for new projects and to create new development opportunities for artists and ideas within the Tasmanian theatre sector.
If you are a theatre artist and you have an idea that you think may be of interest to us, we would love to hear from you.
Please contact Jane Johnson to discuss your idea further.
